Our customer an established company within the Kosher Food industry is looking for a National Sales Manager for the Supermarket Channel Market. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring sales support to customers working with brokers that handle your customers, to accomplish company success.

You will be managing sales to major Supermarket Retailers and Distributors across the United States by executing promotional programs within company budgetary guidelines and policies, introducing new items and increase products sales and brand awareness.

Main responsibilities:
• Call on distributors and retailers across the country to oversee ordering, paperwork and opportunities
• Execute Holiday and Promotional programs throughout the year to distributors and retailers
• Maintain appropriate item maintenance with distributors
• Monitor purchase orders from distributors
• Review and approve deductions taken by distributors
• Work with National sales data to ensure proper itemization at retailers (planograms), retail points in the stores and holiday display coordination
• Monitoring orders, timely pickups at warehouse, monitor potential issues, measure performance of distributors
• Work with office personnel to ensure excellent customer service
• Forecasting of sales for customers you are responsible for
• Monitor all aspects of sales to make sure you hit monthly and annual sales budgets
• Monitor promotional and marketing expenditures for customers you are responsible for

• Bachelor degree in business administration / operations or similar
• Food sales experience in supermarket channel is preferred
• Knowledge of Kosher Food Market is not necessary but helpful
• Experience working with National Supermarket Retailers and Distributors in the US
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer focused, communicator and interpersonal skills
• Must have good organization and time management skills
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated and a Problem solver
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
• Able to travel nationally as needed (around 50%)
• Expert in Excel (pivot, vlookup, visual basics), SAP and / or other reporting tools
• Enjoy working in a multicultural environment.
