A fast growing company in the Cyber security domain. To support its growth, the company is looking to hire VP Marketing to lead its strategic and operational marketing activities. The company’s US sales, marketing and delivery functions are based in Boston and its headquarters is based in Israel.
Based on its patented Moving Target Defense, the company is leading a dramatic change in the cyber defense market. To capitalize on this tremendous opportunity the VP marketing will need to establish the company’s positioning, thought leadership, awareness and educational activities. As customers are accustomed to thinking and evaluating products based on traditional methods and facing strong competition, the VP marketing needs to be highly innovative driving an impactful marketing strategy that will rise above the noise and confusion in the market.
Position:
Reporting to the CEO and serving as an integral member of the senior leadership team, the VP of Marketing will be responsible for the development of the company marketing, public relations and communications strategy and will contribute to the company organizational strategic operations. The VP of Marketing will be responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of marketing activities relative to the strategic direction and positioning of the organization and its leadership. A primary goal is to build the lead generation platform and awareness activities in order to support the company’s sales and business goals
Responsibilities:
• Analyze market trends and competition
• Define and maintain positioning and strategy
• Develop and implement an integrated strategic marketing plan to advance company positioning
• Identify and lead new new/sub applications/use cases and markets.
• Lead thought leadership and market awareness
• Identify challenges and emerging issues faced by the organization, working with
leadership team and staff to recognize internal and external marketing and
communications opportunities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate
strategies to support them
Define, plan and budget a marketing plan that supports marketing goals
• Develop and implement a measurable lead generation infrastructure
• Develop and maintain web site and social channels
• Initiate and manage events (Webinars, Tradeshows)
• Develop and maintain content and sales tools
• Manage PR activities and relationships
• Be the company spokesman for awareness activities such as events and PR
• Manage Analyst relations
• Monitor results Vs. targets and drive improvements

Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience and leadership in managing comprehensive strategic
marketing and communications, media relations, and marketing program
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as VP Marketing in Cyber security, preferably in End
Point security.
• Innovative thinker, with track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans
and output
• Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive; a team leader who can positively and
productively impact initiatives
• Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills, persuasive
communicator.
• Experience in planning, writing, editing, and production of newsletters, press releases
and marketing literature
• Experience in developing and implementing social media strategies
