Our client, a leading technology company, is looking for a sales manager to join their already successful Sales team. This person will be tasked with developing relationships with key stakeholders and driving business within their Sports accounts as well as manage and recruit VARs and other channel partners focusing on sports teams, leagues, conferences, digital media companies, and other market segments that are associated with Sports in the US market. The ideal candidate will have proven experience and effective business contacts with these areas as well as resellers that focus on these accounts that have the ability to sell solution based products and identify new business opportunities within the sports market place.

Responsibilities:
• Utilize consultative selling techniques to build, implement and drive immediate sales while establishing long-term relationships with accounts
• Serve as a solution based consultant for accounts; Prepare bids, process specifications, and presentations
• Create account action plans as well as set and meet revenue goals
• Understand working with distribution channels, mechanics of conducting a sale, market needs, trade shows, and sales strategies
• Develop a pipeline of opportunities that supports individual sales goals as well as the company’s overall sales goals

Requirements
• 5-7 years selling solutions in the US sports market with strong executive contacts.
• In depth understanding of sports teams, leagues, and conferences and their day to day operations
• Demonstrated history of sales achievements including growing sales and development of new business of technology solutions
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision a must
• Technically capable person able to demonstrate complex solutions and discuss technical features in detail
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
• Collaboration skills to build relationships
• Strong customer service skills with internal and external customers
• Detail oriented and organized
• Computer & CRM skills (Microsoft Office)
• Advantage to candidates with experience in: Wireless Network solutions, Video solutions, Mobile Solutions
