BUSINESS ANALYST / QA SPECIALIST – Contract to Perm – Dania Beach, FL
BUSINESS ANALYST / QA SPECIALIST EXPERIENCE:
Between 3 to 10 years of total experience as a business analyst.
Must have previous experience in QA methodologies, QA software testing tools, and QA best practices, including but not limited to functionality, integration, GUI, regression, stress/load, security and UAT.
BUSINESS ANALYST / QA SPECIALIST DUTIES:
Create business requirements for the project
Create functional specifications and detailed test plans
Design and execute the test scenarios and test scripts
Perform general day to day management of change requests
Collect, understand and transmit the business requirements for the project, and translate these into functional specifications and detailed test plans.
Understand client requirements, create comprehensive specification documents and collaborate with software developers in the delivery of the software components.
Analyze and document business processes.
Provide the link between the customer, development team and any third party regarding software functionality, throughout the development lifecycle.
Design and execute the test scenarios and test scripts.
Create test scripts and test plans, supervise the execution of these test plans and perform QA tasks to ensure that deliverables meet client expectations and quality standards.
Must be able to work effectively as a team member with peers and other development staff to share information from ongoing discussions with the business, accomplishing assigned functions, and solving problems.
Coordinate, develop, review and report on User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Performance/Load Testing plans to ensure a technical solution meets the requirements of the business.
Thorough understanding of full Project Life Cycle and software development methodology (i.e., analysis, design, coding, system and user testing problem resolution and planning).
• Knowledge of test automation software.
• Knowledge of reporting services and report writer tools.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards
