Position Title: Sr. Systems Administrator

Description: Sr. Systems Admin - Contract to Perm - St. Petersburg, FL

The Sr. Systems Administrator will be part of the architecture team, and be responsible for the planning, design, forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for systems in an enterprise environment. The Sr. Systems Administrator will work closely with networking, storage, and other system administration peers, as well as 3rd party vendors to ensure effective system and service operations.

Sr. Systems Admin Requirements:
" 5+ years of IT work experience in a systems administration role performing system design, planning and implementation pertaining to Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Dell, Equallogic
" 3+ years of IT work experience with enterprise technologies, including, but not limited to DNS, SSL, IIS, Active Directory, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Lync, System Center, etc.

Sr. Systems Admin Pluses:
" Enterprise Phone Experience
" DELL EqualLogic Storage experience
" MCITP: Server Administrator
" MCITP: Enterprise Messaging Administrator
" Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
" 2+ relevant technical certifications.

Sr. Systems Admin Job Duties:
" Participates in system planning, architecture design and implementation.
" Evaluates new products, performs system problem resolution and assists in the development of documentation of technical standards and interface applications.
" Monitors system performance, performs system tuning and makes recommendations for improvement.
" Participate in cross-training activities, including, but not limited to: Networking, Telephony, Virtualization, and Storage.
" Facilitate the sharing of knowledge across employees to strengthen individual capabilities and the organization's ability to respond to client needs.
